Interesting take on lucky numbers. In India though, it's a combination of numbers according to religion that are considered lucky. For ex. 108 or 1008 is considered lucky in Hinduism and 786 among the muslim community.
Thanks for correcting me Pranjal! It's interesting to find it's a combination of numbers coming from religions in India. It makes me wonder if those numbers change in other communities of these religions but living in other countries.
